For the third year in a row the town has been host to a wooly beast, better known as a black bear. Yesterday while driving home we discovered many neighbors from around town were gathered in a backyard, just a block from our place. Up in the tree was a hot, scared bear, clearly out of his element. I had to laugh as for all the years we've been retreating up north, we've never seen a bear. I guess their becoming citified now and I only have to look as far as my back yard.
