While having a family picnic at a local state park EB lost her second tooth. It had been hanging by a thread for about a week. She wasn't interested in allowing us expedite the process by pulling it for her. An apple took care of it instead. After about the fourth bite she looked down at the apple and noticed a bit of blood. We immediately said, "Your tooth came out." Which was immediately followed by a "Wow, it looks like you swallowed it". The tooth was no where to be found. After a initial brief look of horror on her part, she stood on the picnic table, threw up her fist and shouted, "Yes! My tooth came out!"
Later she worried about how she would receive a gift from the tooth fairy in light that she had no tooth to place under the pillow. We suggested that she could leave the fairy a note and that she'd understand. Fairies understand about these sort of issues. After we got home she went and wrote out a note to the Tooth Fairy and placed it under her pillow.
Much to her relief, a gift was left under her pillow and we were woken up early the next morning to enjoy the surprise.
Then a friend informed her about how the tooth would pass from her stomach and where it would come out...

Sorry; upon reflection, that comment was inappropriate.
Swampy
Congradulations little EB! If it helps at all, Chloe lost a tooth eating a pear at the mall and also swallowed it. The tooth fairy sure is understanding about such things.
Remember when you used to put little people in fun places around the house? Those pictures are some of my favorites. You are such a sparkle! Audrey can't wait to play with you when we visit this summer~
I'm laughing out loud. That is adorable. Be sure to save that note.
